Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

You must have any one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

  • 3-year Diploma in Engineering

  • For IPM Department:

    • ITI Certificate in Electrician trade

    • Minimum 3 years experience in electrical substations and DG sets

Note:

  • ITI after 10th class is valid

  • Degree/Diploma must be from a recognized institute

  • Basic computer knowledge is required

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 27 years

  • Age counted on: 09 March 2026

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules

  • IIT Guwahati permanent employees: No age limit

Important:

  • Age relaxation is not allowed for UR posts, even if the candidate belongs to a reserved category

3. Required Documents

  • Caste / EWS / OBC (NCL) certificate (issued within last 1 year)

  • PwBD certificate (if applicable)

  • NOC or undertaking (for Govt/PSU employees)

  • Experience certificate (if required)

Selection Process

The selection will be done in stages:

  3. Skill Test (as per job role)
